Why the Laws Work

The Law of Attraction and all of the other laws we will explore in this blog are possible because of one thing: energy.

This is also why clairvoyance, Reiki healing, magic, and prayer all work, too. It’s all about energy.

Everything in the entire Universe is made up of energy. I think of energy as that which is created from all of the little electrons spinning like crazy and orbiting the nucleus in each atom of every molecule of the Universe.

It’s been proven that when two people stand in close proximity to each other, they start to share electrons. I’ve always believed that this is why you will often get an immediate gut reaction from another person – you can actually feel his or her energy. When their little electrons jump over and start orbiting your nucleus, it’s either going to feel good or its not.

For some of us, we are able to feel energy in different ways. We don’t necessarily have to be withing two or three feet of the subject. I call this being tuned in to Radio Universe. This is no different than listening to the radio in the car. We are always being bombarded by that energy, but it is only when we tune to particular stations that we can hear that particular stream of energy coming through.

The good news about this is that you can start to learn to “tune” your radio to the station you like. If you tune to positive things that you want, you will notice more of those things and types of people coming into your life. If you tune into to stations that you don’t want, then you will get more of that. Just because you are focusing on that frequency of energy.

It is up to you what type of energy you want to tune into, but know this: the Law of Attraction will continue to work whether you choose a station consciously or not.

What station do you have your Radio Universe tuned to? How has exchanging energy with others affected your life? I’d love to hear about it.

    Nicely put.

The radio analogy really works. Sometimes there’s so much noise in the room we can’t actually hear well enough to tune it properly so there’s no static.

Thanks, Dee. You’re totally right. Sometimes there’s so much noise around us it is hard to tune in. ๐Ÿ™‚

A very good analogy with the radio. What I think was really terrific was the comment about how the Law of Attraction will continue to work even if you don`t pick your station! That is hard for many to understand but this explanation makes it really clear. Good stuff!

Yes, we have to learn to tune ourselves to the frequencies we want. I have a poster in my office with some notes on LOE and frequency and one of my coworkers walked in and said “You believe in that mumbo jumbo?”

At first I didn’t want to answer because obviously by the way the question was asked, I could tell he was a closed-minded guy and nothing I said would have helped him see anything different. So I just smiled. But it’s crazy that he (along with others) don’t understand how energy works. Just because you can’t “see” energy doesn’t mean it can’t be felt and/or manipulated to work in our favor.

And you said it best – LOE is working whether we want to believe it is or not. We attract that which we focus on most – regardless if it’s conscious or not. It’s another reason I attempt to ensure my thoughts are focused on positivity a majority of the time.

Question – how would you have responded to my coworker if asked that same question? #curious ๐Ÿ™‚

      Hi Kesha:

We can’t “see” radio waves or television waves, either, but everyone believes in these when they turn on their radio or tv! You can remind people of that. I don’t have one “set” answer as I usually determine my response by the other person. Here are some examples I’ve used in the past:

      1. for a grumpy co-worker: “Absolutely!” smile. You don’t need to explain yourself.
      2. for a grumpy co-worker: cross your arms, stick out your lip, pout, and say, “Yes! I tried to be a member of the Grumpy poo-poo head club, but it just wasn’t as much fun.” Try not to laugh. Yes, I’ve said this a couple times. In all but one case it got the other person laughing.
      3. grumpy boss: “Of course I do. I’ve found that it increases my productivity. By the way, here’s my idea on……that you asked about.” Or hand over your sleek new presentation or some other form of awesomeness.
      4. for the Geek: “Yes, I can’t wait until people set their phasers to ‘love.’ By the way, did you hear there’s a new Star Trek coming out? I wonder if it will be more like TNG or DSN? Or perhaps they’ll do a throw-back to the original? What do you think?”
      5. for the uber-science Nerd: “Of course, you know the latest string theories in quantum physics are showing some crazy relationships in energy. And of course, everyone knows that when two people are near each other, their valence electrons start jumping to the other person’s orbits. Why, I bet we’re sharing electrons right now!”

If you can’t tell from these responses, I value humor and logic. Humor will do more to get people to not just leave you alone, but will almost always open their minds just a smidge. Isn’t that better than pushing against them? No matter where I have been in my life, I have always been the “friend” of the grumpy boss, teacher, or whoever. This is because of the way I react to them. They respect it. They may not always come around to my way of thinking, but often they will research what I’m talking about, even if it’s “just to try to throw me,” haha.

Try it and see. You can also look into Aikido and conversations – there are similar tactics in that. You’ll also notice that diverting the other person works, too. Slightly changing the subject and asking for their opinion will make them feel all warm and fuzzy inside, and they won’t always know why! If they ask, point to your sign. ๐Ÿ˜‰
      Hope that answers your question.

Love it! And sounds like we’re sisters from another mother (I value humor and logic as well) ๐Ÿ™‚ I am definitely going to use “Grumpy poo-poo head club” LOL

Thanks so much for responding with these options. I truly appreciate it. In situations like this I’ve usually been the one to just be quiet because, as with politics and religion, I don’t discuss unless I know the person and we can have a cordial discussion without someone getting angry and/or beat me upside the head because I don’t believe what they do ๐Ÿ™‚

I’ll surely be looking out for more of your content Amethyst!

Interesting. The energy and electrons. Well, I knew people say one gets energy from people and then there’s those who just wear you out of energy. But I never stopped to think how exactly is that energy transferring: By standing close to a person and share the electrons. – Interesting ๐Ÿ™‚

I truly believe that not only do we share electrons while we are near each other, but we can also keep them. I think this is why when something really bad happens to someone close to us or they die, sometimes we know. It’s because their electron “knows” or, if it was theirs maybe it just dies and we feel it.

I totally agree with the transference of energies — I’m terrible in Walmart and Costco now days (any store really) — I just cannot get out of the store fast enough! I”ve even starting a little ritual before I go in to help counteract … sadly to no avail on some days. The upside to this (yes, there is one) is that I don’t get panic attacks anymore. Once I figured out the why and the how, I’ve been able to at least try to fix it. This was long before I discovered the Law of Attraction, too.

Of course now I just have to be more diligent with my thought processes ๐Ÿ™‚ When you are stuck in one mind shift for so long, for many of us it is hard to change. But surrounding yourself with more positive people and detoxifying, so to speak, the negativity that is around you is so important … and it seems to be the biggest hurdle for so many.

thanks for the radio analogy, Amethyst! Time for me to focus more on my “Awesome Fluffy Bunny Warrior” station!!! ๐Ÿ™‚
